How to charge using a repeated schedule ('Routines')

Routines are schedules you can set for specific times or days throughout the week. These can be set up via the “Routines” button at the bottom of the Charging page.

Note: Your charger must be unplugged from the vehicle to enable or disable dynamic charging and set a Routine.

Creating a Routine

  1. Enable ‘Dynamic charging’ on the Charging page of the Ohme app
  2. Tap ‘Routines’ at the bottom of the screen
  3. Enable an existing Routine, or tap the ‘Create a routine’ button at the bottom of the screen.
  4. You will then be able to name the routine, and choose the following information:
    • Which days the routine is active
    • Your charging target
    • Cabin Preconditioning (the default time is 30 minutes but this can be adjusted)
  5. Tap ‘Confirm’ to save

Enabling a Routine

Once you have created your Routines, you can enable any you would like Ohme to follow as part of a regular schedule. For example, you may wish to have one routine for weekdays, and one for the weekends. To turn a Routine on, follow these steps:

  1. While the charger is unplugged and online, check that ‘Dynamic Charging’ is enabled via the Charging page
  2. Tap ‘Routines’ button at the bottom of the page
  3. Tap the toggle next to the Routine you wish to turn on
  4. On the charging page, you should see the name of the next Routine Ohme plans to follow under ‘Your Next Charge’.

Note: If you have multiple Routines enabled, Ohme will follow the settings of the Routine with the next available ‘Ready by’ time.

Updating a Routine

Finally, if you need to update your Routine at any time, this can be adjusted via the ‘Routines’ section while the charger is unplugged.

Alternatively, if you need to edit the routine for the next session only, this can be done via the following steps:

  1. Tapping either the charging amount or ready by time on the Charging page
  2. Use the +/- buttons or tap the charging percentage to increase/decrease, or adjust the time as needed
  3. Tap ‘Confirm’ to save
  4. Upon plugout, Ohme will revert back to your pre-saved settings as part of your Routine.
