Ohme expands home EV charging partnership with Suzuki in Australia

Ohme has continued the growth of its global collaboration with Suzuki as it becomes the new and exclusive home EV charging partner for Suzuki Australia.

Alongside its existing partnerships with Suzuki in the UK and Ireland, this latest announcement in Australia will see Suzuki recommend Ohme chargers to customers who need a home charging solution with the introduction of its first electric car, the new e VITARA, to Australia.

Ohme will give Suzuki EV buyers in Australia a complete, end-to-end charging solution at the point of sale. Ohme is the largest home EV charging company in the UK and Ireland and the fastest growing EV charging company in Europe.

The Suzuki e Vitara is offered with the choice of two battery options, 49kWh and 61kWh and with front wheel drive or Suzuki’s ALLGRIP E four-wheel drive. Along with solar integration, Ohme’s functionality offers drivers the option to charge their car when electricity costs are lowest and when renewable energy generation on the local electricity grid is at its highest, further lowering their CO2 impact.

Ohme is already the official home EV charging partner for the leading fleet management and mobility provider SG Fleetin both Australia and the UK. It was also recognised among the Top 5 EV chargers in Australia by Solar Choice, one of the country’s leading solar energy comparison platforms.
