Ohme charges the future with new three-phase ePod and ePod S 22kW home chargers in Europe

Ohme, the dynamic home EV charging company, is helping EV drivers to future-proof themselves with the arrival of its new ePod and ePod S 22kW three-phase home chargers to its range in European markets.

The new ePod and ePod S 22kW give EV drivers access to faster charging at home and can accommodate both single and three-phase charging, extending the appeal of the Ohme range still further. The ePod 22kW will go on sale in Belgium and the Netherlands, while the ePod S 22kW will be offered to EV drivers in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.

“The introduction of the 22kW three-phase ePod and ePod S to the Ohme range expands the choice for EV drivers who are charging at home,” said Ohme CEO, David Watson. “No other home charging company in Europe has such a comprehensive choice of charging solutions. The 22kW ePod and ePod S enable drivers to charge faster if they have a three-phase supply at home or will also future-proof them if they decide to upgrade their home in years to come.”

The 22kW Ohme ePod and ePod S join the Home Pro and the Go portable charging cable in Ohme’s full European home charger range that meets all business and personal charging needs. Along with API integration with the majority of European energy tariffs and some of the most advanced smart charging technology on the market, Ohme’s app enables drivers to pre-set a battery charge level for their EV for a specific time of morning, so that the car is ready for their morning commute.

As well as faster charging and API integration, Ohme’s unique charging app also boasts the new MultiCar function. This enables those drivers with more than one EV to add them on their account and switch between them when choosing which car to charge at home.

Ohme is the official charger provider for Mercedes-Benz, the Volkswagen Group and Volvo Cars in both the UK and Ireland as well as Hyundai and Smart Cars in the UK.
