New Alpine A290 adventure on Fortnite

Want to get your hands on the new all-electric Alpine A290 hot hatch and take it for a test drive?

Well, here’s your chance – and you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your own home. Alpine’s stunning A290 hot hatch, based on the forthcoming new Renault 5, is making a virtual appearance on Fortnite.

The “Rift Racers” experience enables players to drive the A290 through rift canyons collecting required materials and then activating the Alpine tower, before escaping before the rift closes and being stuck forever.

“The A290 Alpine car transforming its innovation and adrenaline in Rift Racers is a key moment for us as we expand within the digital and gaming world,” said Daniel Ritchie, Global Director of Sponsorship Acquisition. “Providing players across the globe with a new way of experiencing the speed, agility and electrical power of the A290. This in-game activation bridges the gap between road-cars, motorsport and gaming.”

Within the game, you can drive across different terrain and after setting your fastest time submit it to riftracers-alpine.com for a chance to win a variety of prizes from T-shirts and caps to an X Box or a driving gaming chair. The competition runs until 31 October.

Players need a device capable of running the game Fortnite and once on the homepage to search for Rift Racers and then type in the code “3949-8348-1021” to find the Rift Racers experience.
