Ohme Group is rapidly expanding our participation in the Energy sector through our EV charging points. We’re now looking to expand our activities to deliver flexibility for external partners. We’re hiring a Partnerships Manager to join our growing Energy team to build our market approach and commercial capabilities from ground up. You’ll be a critical part of the team for expanding Ohme Group’s portfolio, joining at a time where you can play an early role in building a world leading energy flexibility business.
What you’ll do
- Build our partnerships team from the ground up including development of commercial capabilities
- Complete market research to identify priority prospects with flexible technology that the Ohme Group could work with
- Create your own pipeline for our prospects as well as building on existing relationships (incl. senior executive level)
- Work with prospects to understand commercial and technical requirements and feed back into internal teams
- Work closely with internal trading and product teams to ensure prospects get the solutions they require
- Nurture ongoing relationships with partners to strengthen long term agreements
What you’ll bring (skills & experience)
- 10 years’ experience in Partnerships or Business Development, with some of that experience in energy or flexibility
- Strategic and commercial thinker able to assess market dynamics and to deliver new agreements that meet our goals
- Understanding of Energy and Flexibility with an ability to distill that technical information down to counterparties
- Comfortable negotiating revenue share agreements based on financial inputs and robust assumptions
- Individually able to find outreach channels for counterparties at the required level, including in person channels
- Confident communicator who can be trusted with outreach to senior executives and build long lasting relationships
