How quickly can Ohme install a home charger?

Ohme can install quickly; most UK customers only need to wait one to two weeks for an installation. Often it can be even faster and we will always try our best to get you booked in as soon as possible. Check the availability in your area by searching your postcode in the search bar above. Our survey is about your property, not your car, so you can get your installation before your car arrives.

Here’s how the journey works:

• Quick eligibility check (about 2 minutes). A few simple questions confirm your home qualifies for an installation.
• Online home survey (about 10 minutes). Upload a few photos of your fuse box, meter and where you’d like the charger, all from your phone.
• We book you in. Once your survey is approved, standard installations are usually booked within one to two weeks.
• Installation day. A standard fit takes up to 3 hours, and your engineer tests the charger and helps you set up the Ohme app before they leave.

• The quickest route is to complete your online home survey as soon as you order, rather than waiting for an in-person visit.
• Clear, well-lit photos and accurate details mean we can approve it first time, with no back-and-forth.
• Replying quickly if we ask for any extra details or permissions keeps things moving.
