We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a proven track record of leading teams, supporting sales partners, and driving brand growth across multiple markets.
You will work from our shared office space in Barcelona city centre, 3 days a week, collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate business development and will actively contribute to the company culture.
There may be international travel required where necessary to our London office and/or other sites in Europe.
Responsibilities
Brand and Marketing Strategy
- Take ownership of Ohme's product and brand positioning across Southern Europe (Spain, Italy and Portugal).
- Define and execute the regional marketing strategy, aligned with overall EU marketing goals.
- Act as a business partner to the Southern Europe sales teams, supporting their marketing and communication initiatives.
- Design and implement effective communication actions, such as events, to promote products and services to customer partners.
- Measure the impact of local marketing initiatives including leads generated, traffic, engagement and partner feedback.
- Collaborate with the wider EU Marketing team to contribute to cross-country alignment and content sharing.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor and develop a small regional marketing team, setting clear goals and supporting their professional growth.
- Manage team workload, priorities and performance to ensure high-quality output and timely delivery.
- Foster a collaborative, creative team culture that is aligned with Ohme's values.
- Work closely with the EU Marketing leadership to ensure the regional team is integrated into wider plans and campaigns.
- Identify hiring needs and support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Champion best practices in marketing operations across the regional team.
Content and Digital
- Manage and update website content using a CMS, ensuring it is always relevant, on-brand and engaging.
- Utilise a CRM to manage customer data and set up emailing campaigns, newsletters and automation campaigns.
- Oversee content creation across social, digital and partner channels for the Southern Europe region.
- Use data and analytics to continuously optimise campaigns and inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure all regional content and communications are consistent with Ohme's brand guidelines.
- Stay ahead of trends in digital marketing, clean energy and EV technology to bring fresh thinking to the team.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in both B2C and B2B environments.
- Proven experience managing and leading a marketing team.
- Track record of delivering integrated marketing campaigns across multiple European markets.
- Strong project management and event coordination skills.
- Proficiency in CMS and CRM tools for web content management, customer data and campaign automation.
- Passion for clean technology, the energy transition, or the EV industry.
Language Requirements
- Native fluency in Spanish or Italian required, plus professional English.
- Additional European languages would be beneficial.
