We are looking to recruit a fully qualified Management Accountant <\/strong>to our scale-up business. The position will entail undertaking management accounting and financial reporting for the Ohme Group of companies.<\/p>\n

The position will be based in Cork and will be working within a small finance team. You will work from the Cork office 3 days a week \u2013 usual office days are Monday, Thursday and Friday.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Responsible for the production and analysis of monthly management accounts across the Group<\/li>\n
  • Responsible for month-end processes including review of journal postings, accruals and prepayments<\/li>\n
  • Producing management and statutory accounts for the Ohme Group of companies and presentation to Senior Management.<\/li>\n
  • Production of the annual budget<\/li>\n
  • Production of monthly \/ quarterly forecasts for Management and Head Office<\/li>\n
  • Preparation of annual financial statements and liaising with auditors and tax advisers.<\/li>\n
  • Managing treasury operations.<\/li>\n
  • Overseeing statutory filings such as VAT returns and corporation tax computations.<\/li>\n
  • Managing other ad hoc administrative tasks related to the financial functions of Ohme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Skills and experience:<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Fully qualified management accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with experience in a similar position<\/li>\n
    • Strong technical accounting knowledge<\/li>\n
    • Excellent analytical and numerical skills<\/li>\n
    • Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate financial information to the various stakeholders<\/li>\n
    • Accuracy and attention to detail<\/li>\n
    • Ability to work effectively in a small team<\/li>\n
    • Working knowledge of cloud-based accountancy packages strongly preferred. We use Odoo!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
