Retrieving the car\u2019s battery status from your car\u2019s manufacturer lets us display this information in the Ohme app to make charging your car easy.  This advanced smart charging feature makes it quick and simple when deciding how much you\u2019d like to top up your battery. If you encounter any issues with Ohme retrieving the battery status from your car, follow the steps below to check and, if need be, reset the link to your car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Make sure the charger is unplugged. This is always important when making any changes in the app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Log out of your vehicle\u2019s app and log back in. Avoid using biometric login such as facial or finger recognition and manually type in your credentials to confirm they are correct.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In the Ohme app go to the \u2018My EV\u2019 section and tap \u2018Unpair my EV\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Plug the charger into the car for about 30 seconds to save this change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Unplug the charger and go back into the Ohme app, \u2018My EVs\u2019 section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Tap \u2018Pair my EV\u2019 again and when prompted to, log in with your vehicle\u2019s app account credentials.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Once you have successfully changed the car, you should be returned to the \u2018My EVs\u2019 section with the battery status showing above the \u2018Unpair my EV\u2019 button.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If you find that resetting the connection with your car app account fails, there may be an issue with the API on our side, or your vehicle manufacturer\u2019s side.     Do you have multiple cars? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    If you have multiple cars added to the Ohme App with our multi-car feature (available on app version 2.4.0 or later), you may need to ensure you have the correct vehicle selected before resetting the connection with your car account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you have multiple vehicles set in the Ohme App and wish to switch between them, you can follow these four steps:<\/p>\n\n\n

      Tap the vehicle selector in the top left-hand corner of the screen.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Select your EV from the list.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Ohme will then adjust its charging schedule to match your EV\u2019s battery size and maximum charging speed.
      \n(You can then see which car you have selected on the Charging page in the top left.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. You can then complete the steps at the top of the page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n
