Alternatively, if your charging behaviour doesn\u2019t follow a regular pattern, for example charging every Sunday night, then you can manage your smart charge directly on the Charging screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, we&#8217;ll take a look at:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"#update-schedule\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/support\/how-do-i-update-my-charge-schedules\/#update-schedule\"><u>How to set a charge target<\/u><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#edit-current-session\">How to edit your current charge session<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#how-to-set-a-routine\">How to set a Routine<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#max-charge\">How to Max Charge<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"update-schedule\">How to set a charge target<\/h2>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2024\/07\/support_update-target_IRE_1.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"textContainer\">\n        <h3 class=\"title\">Dynamic Charging on<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"758\">You can set a charge target via the Charging page of the Ohme app by toggling this setting on.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"860\">To update the charging target, simply tap either the \u201cCharge to\u201d or \u201cCharge to add\u201d percentage and \u201cReady by\u201d time and adjust them accordingly. In this example, we have set a target to \u2018add\u2019 30% charge by 08:00am the next morning.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1071\">These settings will be applied to the next charging session, and will remain set unless they are either adjusted, or \u201cDynamic charging\u201d is disabled.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2024\/07\/support_update-target_IRE_2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"textContainer\">\n        <h3 class=\"title\">Dynamic Charging off<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1259\">If Dynamic charging is turned off, Ohme will default to a \u201cCharge to full, ready as soon as possible\u201d mode, in line with any other scheduling restrictions set.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1412\">For example, with Dynamic charging turned off, and a Price cap enabled, Ohme will schedule to add as much charge as possible during the off-peak hours of the tariff currently selected.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1599\">Similarly, if the Regulated charging hours setting is enabled, Ohme will add as much charge as possible outside of the 08:00am-11:00am and 04:00pm-10:00pm windows.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"edit-current-session\">How to edit your current charge session<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to edit your charge session once you have plugged in, you can do so via the Charging screen of the Ohme app.<\/p>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2024\/07\/support_right-target_IRE_2.jpg\" alt=\"Ohme app Charging screen showing an active session with the battery currently at 65%\"\/>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"textContainer\">\n        <h3 class=\"title\">Edit current session<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1991\">Upon plugin, you can adjust your charge target for this particular session via the Charging page.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"2091\">Simply tap either the Charge to or Charge to add percentage or Ready by time to edit these settings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2024\/07\/support_update-target_IRE_3.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"textContainer\">\n        <h3 class=\"title\">Unplugged<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"2213\">Upon plugout, the last changes made to the charging schedule will be saved.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"2291\">For example, if the charging plan was adjusted from Charge to 30% to Charge to 80% while plugged in, upon plugout, the Ohme app will save the schedule as Charge to 80% for the next session.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-set-a-routine\">How to set a Routine<\/h2>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2024\/07\/Create-a-routine.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"textContainer\">\n        <h3 class=\"title\">Routines<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p>Routines are schedules you can set for specific times or days throughout the week. These can be set up via the Routines button at the bottom of the Charging screen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note: you will need to have Dynamic charging enabled in order to see Routines.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2024\/07\/rountine-set-up.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"textContainer\">\n        <h3 class=\"title\">Create a Routine<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"2929\">To set a Routine for the first time, tap the \u201cCreate a routine\u201d button at the bottom of the screen.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3012\">You will then be able to name the routine, and choose the following information:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ak-ul\" data-indent-level=\"1\">\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3097\">Which days the routine is active<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3133\">Your charging amount and Ready by time<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3158\">Cabin Preconditioning (the default time is 30 minutes but this can be adjusted)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3242\">Once you have entered this information, tap Save in the top right-hand corner to finish.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2024\/07\/routines-page.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"textContainer\">\n        <h3 class=\"title\">Edit an existing Routine<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p>To edit an existing Routine, simply tap the name of the Routine and adjust as needed. Then, click Save to confirm these changes.rnrnIf you need to delete a Routine, tap on the routine you wish to remove, and tap the Delete button at the bottom of the screen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2024\/07\/support_update-target_IRE_3.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"textContainer\">\n        <h3 class=\"title\">Your next charge<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p>Once a routine has been enabled, before you plug in, you will see the name of the active Routine on the Charging screen above \u201cDynamic charging\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In this example, we can see a Routine called \u2018Overnight charge\u2019 has been enabled.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2024\/07\/support_update-target_IRE_4.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"textContainer\">\n        <h3 class=\"title\">This session only<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3662\">Upon plugin, the name of the schedule will be visible on the charging screen.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3742\">If you wish to edit the charge target for this particular charging session, simply tap the Charge to\/Charge to add or Ready By Time to update this information. The routine name will then update to \u201cThis session only\u201d to confirm the changes.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3742\">Upon Plugout, the charging schedule will revert to the original rule that has been set in your Routine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"max-charge\">How to Max Charge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need to charge now, you can switch to Max Charge in the Ohme app. This temporarily disables Dynamic charging, any Routines, and the Price cap, and charges your car as quickly as possible until the battery is full or you un-plug the charger.<\/p>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"title\">Step 1<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"4631\">Upon plug in, the charging page will show the current charging plan.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"4702\">Tap \u201cMax charge\u201d, then \u201cTurn on Max charge\u201d to activate this setting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper
