When setting up a session, there are two different ways to set the amount of charge you\u2019d like to deliver to your car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"#added-range\">Setting an amount of charge to &#8216;add&#8217; to your car<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#target-range\">Setting a &#8216;target&#8217; for Ohme to reach<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"added-range\">Setting an amount of charge to \u2018add\u2019 to your car.<\/h3>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2024\/07\/charge-to-add.jpg\" alt=\"charging page without API connected showing \"charge to add\"\"\/>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"textContainer\">\n        <h3 class=\"title\">Charge to add<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p>If you have a car brand that we\u2019re not yet integrated with (or you haven\u2019t paired your car\u2019s app account with Ohme), you\u2019ll need to set a charge target that specifies the percentage of charge you would like to add to the current amount of charge displayed in your car.<\/p>\n<p>For example, if you normally return home with 30% charge left in your EV and you want to have 80% ready for the next morning, you\u2019ll need to set a charge target to add 50% more charge (30% + 50% = 80%). You can do this by tapping the \u201cCharge to add\u201d button, and using either the +\/- buttons, or tapping the percentage to manually type in the amount to add.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-none bottom-smaller   \">\n\n<div class=\"alert-wrapper\">\n    <div class=\"alert none\">\n        <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"icon\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/themes\/ohme-energy\/shared\/images\/warning.svg\" \/>\n        <p>If you set a charge target asking Ohme to add charge that would total over 100% battery (for example, you ask Ohme to add 50% but you\u2019re already on 80%), once your car is full you might receive an alert to tell you that your car isn\u2019t charging as expected. This isn\u2019t anything to worry about, but it\u2019s our way of letting you know that we were expecting to deliver more charge.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2024\/07\/routines-no-API.jpg\" alt=\"routines page without API integrated showing two routines\"\/>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"textContainer\">\n        <h3 class=\"title\">Routine<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p>Alternatively, you can set up Routines to request for Ohme to add a specified amount of charge to the vehicle on certain days of the week by a departure time.<\/p>\n<p>For example, you could set one weekday routine for Ohme to add 30% charge to the vehicle on Monday &#8211; Friday by 8am for a small top-up throughout the week. You could then set another Routine for Ohme to add 80% charge on Saturday and Sunday by 9am to allow for a larger weekend charge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-smaller bottom-smaller   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2024\/07\/support_right-target_IRE_1.jpg\" alt=\"Ohme app Charging screen showing an active session with 23% charge added\"\/>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"textContainer\">\n        <h3 class=\"title\">Energy added<\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p>Upon plugin, the Charging page will show how much energy has been added to the vehicle so far, as well as the name and details of the Routine being followed if currently enabled.<\/p>\n<p>The charging schedule can be adjusted for the individual charging session by tapping the \u201cCharge to add\u201d or \u201cReady by\u201d areas of the Charging screen.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on how to update your charging plan, please see this guide: <a href=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/support\/how-do-i-update-my-charging-target\/\">How do I update my charging target?<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttonsContainer\">\n                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"target-range\">Setting a &#8216;target&#8217; for Ohme to reach<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To set a \u2018target\u2019, you must first check that you\u2019ve downloaded your car brand\u2019s dedicated app and created an account, then log into your car app account when you choose your car in the Ohme app. Logging into your car app account will allow Ohme to retrieve the battery state of charge which allows for more precise charging. Ohme will check in with your car at regular intervals during the session to achieve the target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an Ohme Labs feature and it may not always work as intended.
