As a part of Ohme Labs, we\u2019re continuously improving API integration feature and, from time to time, it may not work as intended.<\/p>\n<p>Please note, certain functionality may also be limited based on manufacturer-specific API restrictions or limitations.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"car-not-supported\">Your car brand isn&#8217;t supported<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Some car manufacturers provide an API&nbsp;(Application&nbsp;Programming&nbsp;Interface)&nbsp;which allows access to&nbsp;information&nbsp;about your car via your manufacturer\u2019s&nbsp;app. Providing your login details in the Ohme app allows Ohme to see your car&#8217;s current state of charge, which is then used to work out how much charge you need. This feature is currently available for a limited number of brands. If your brand isn\u2019t listed, Ohme won\u2019t be able to see your car\u2019s state of charge. API support is currently available for the following brands:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Audi<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cupra<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hyundai<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nissan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Porsche<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Renault<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Skoda<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tesla<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volkswagen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volvo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can still smart charge your car without API support; you\u2019ll just need to set up your charge schedules a little differently. You can find out more about choosing the right schedule for your car here &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/ohme-ev.com\/ie\/support\/how-do-i-choose-the-right-target-for-my-car\/\">How do I choose the right target for my car? &#8211; Ohme EV Ireland<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"account-not-connected\">You haven\u2019t connected your car app account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you haven\u2019t logged into your car account when selecting your car profile Ohme won\u2019t be able to retrieve the battery level from the car. Go to \u2018Settings\u2019 &gt; \u2018My EV\u2019 &gt; and tap the \u2018Pair my&#8217; button. Once you\u2019ve successfully logged in you should see the battery level and estimated range underneath the car name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"reset-connection-with-car-app\">How to reset the connection with your car app account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>From time to time, manufacturers we support for battery integration may release updates that enhance functionality, security, and compatibility. These updates can impact the link between your Ohme app and car app, affecting accurate battery status readings. If you encounter any issues with Ohme retrieving the battery status from your car, you can reset the link to your car app account by unpairing and re-pairing via the My EV page in the Ohme app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"battery-status-issue\">Ohme wasn\u2019t able to retrieve the battery status due to a connectivity issue<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>From time to time, Ohme may be unable to retrieve your car\u2019s battery status due to a connectivity issue. Poor connectivity can result in your car, car app, and Ohme all displaying different data. To resolve this, first check that your phone or tablet has a good internet connection. Then, check that the data in your car app is up to date and if not, try refreshing your car app. Once your car app is showing the correct data, refresh the Ohme app again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"car-password-changed\">Your car app password has changed and has not been updated in the Ohme app<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you change the password to your car app, you\u2019ll need to update this in the Ohme app so that Ohme can continue to retrieve information about your car. Head to &#8216;My EV\u2019 &gt; &#8216;Unpair my EV&#8217;, then re-pair to your car&#8217;s app account and enter the email address and new password for your car app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"api-down\">The API is down due to an issue on Ohme\u2019s or the car manufacturer&#8217;s side<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>API support is currently an Ohme Labs feature. Ohme Labs is our exclusive community for features that are in the advanced stages of testing, so there may be a few hiccups along the way and the feature may not always work as intended. Please note, that certain functionality may also be limited based on manufacturer-specific API restrictions or limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you notice that your battery status isn\u2019t correctly displayed in the Ohme app but it is correctly displayed in your car app, it\u2019s likely an issue down at Ohme Labs. If your battery status isn\u2019t correctly displayed in the Ohme app or your car app, it\u2019s likely an issue on your car manufacturer\u2019s side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-to-do-when-api-down\">What should I do if the API is down?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you encounter issues with Ohme picking up your car&#8217;s battery level, we recommend unplugging and re-plugging your charging cable and refreshing the API connection by unpairing and re-pairing it. If these steps do not resolve the issue, it&#8217;s likely the API connection is currently unavailable.<\/p>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"blockWrapper top-default bottom-default   \">\n\n\n<div class=\"contentWrapper textImageLeft  image\">\n            <div class=\"imageContainer\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"title\"><\/h3>\n        <h4 class=\"subtitle regular\"><\/h4>\n        <div class=\"text\"><p>In this case, we therefore recommend you continue using Ohme as a smart charger without the API integration (by clicking &#8220;Unpair my EV&#8221;, then &#8220;Unpair now&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>Once disconnected, simply adjust your charge amount slightly on the Charging page to <strong>top up by, or &#8216;add&#8217;<\/strong>\u00a0a certain amount of charge on top of any existing battery, rather than meeting a &#8216;<strong>target<\/strong>&#8216;.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div
