With our Multi-Car feature, you can add multiple electric vehicle profiles in your Ohme App and easily switch between them. Please note, you’ll need App version 2.4.0 or later to use this feature. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding an additional EV<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Once you have completed your initial app set up, you\u2019ll be able to add the details of additional vehicles to help make sure Ohme knows which vehicle you\u2019re about to charge.<\/p>\n\n\n

Add an EV<\/h3>\n

  1. In the Ohme App, tap Settings > My EVs.<\/li>\n
  2. Tap \u201cAdd an EV\u201d and select your vehicle make and model from the list provided. If prompted, you can sign in with your vehicle’s app account (API integration) so that Ohme can retrieve the battery status from the vehicle.<\/li>\n
  3. You\u2019ll then see this added to the list of EVs on the \u2018Manage my EVs\u2019 section.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

    Note: if you can\u2019t see your car from our lists, or your car specs are different, you can tap \u201cMy brand\/model isn\u2019t listed\u201d to set up a custom vehicle profile.     Once you have added the new EV to your app, you can now select the vehicle you wish to charge via the main Charging page.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Select an EV to charge<\/h3>\n

    1. Before plugin, tap the vehicle selector in the top left-hand corner of the screen.<\/li>\n
    2. Select your EV from the list.<\/li>\n
    3. Ohme will then adjust its charging schedule to match your EV\u2019s battery size and maximum charging speed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

      Please note, if you started charging with the wrong car, you can change the EV selected after plugin too, following the same steps listed above. Ohme will then recalculate its charging schedule to match the new vehicle specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Removing an EV<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      You can only remove an EV profile when a different<\/strong> EV is selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      If you only have one EV saved, the Remove EV option will not appear. To remove your original EV you must add another EV first. Once you have two EVs in the list, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n

      1. Go to Settings > MyEVs.<\/li>\n
      2. Select the vehicle you wish to remove from your list.<\/li>\n
      3. Tap the \u201cRemove EV\u201d button.<\/li>\n
      4. Confirm this by tapping \u201cRemove\u201d on the pop up again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Note: You cannot remove the EV at the top of the list. First, change the selected car on the Charging screen and return.<\/em><\/p>\n

        Note: you will still be able to see your charging history for that vehicle, and you can always re-add the vehicle again if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Usage Data<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        In the Usage section of the Ohme App, you can keep a track of which vehicle was selected at the time of each charging session.<\/p>\n\n\n

            1. On the Usage section of your app, tap ‘View charge sessions’<\/li>\n
            2. Here, you can see a breakdown of your usage data, including which car was selected in your app for each session.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Note: if the incorrect EV was selected in the app, Ohme will display this EV in your usage data, so it\u2019s important to make sure this is correct before charging.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
