u003cp data-renderer-start-pos=u0022654u0022u003eIf you have a car brand that we\u2019re not yet integrated with (or you haven\u2019t paired your car\u2019s app account with Ohme), you\u2019ll need to set a charge target that specifies the percentage of charge you would like to u003cstrong data-renderer-mark=u0022trueu0022u003etop up your car by.\u00a0u003c\/strongu003eu003c\/pu003ernu003cp data-renderer-start-pos=u0022930u0022u003eFor example, if you normally return home with 30% charge left in your EV and you want to have 80% ready for the next morning, you\u2019ll need to set a charge target to top up by 50% more charge (30% + 50% = 80%). You can do this by tapping the \u201cTop up my car by\u201d button, and using either the +\/- buttons, or tapping the percentage to manually type in the amount to add.u003c\/pu003e<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n If you ask Ohme to top up your car by an amount that would total over 100% battery (for example, you ask Ohme to top up by 50% but you\u2019re already on 80%), once your car is full you might receive an alert to tell you that your car isn\u2019t charging as expected. This isn\u2019t anything to worry about, but it\u2019s our way of letting you know that we had scheduled to deliver more charge.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

You could then set another Routine for Ohme to add 80% charge on Saturday and Sunday by 9am to allow for a larger weekend charge.u003c\/pu003e<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

To set a \u2018target\u2019, you must first check that you\u2019ve downloaded your car brand\u2019s dedicated app and created an account, then log into your car app account when you choose your car in the Ohme app. Logging into your car app account will allow Ohme to retrieve the battery state of charge which allows for more precise charging. Ohme will check in with your car at regular intervals during the session to achieve the target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is an Ohme Labs feature and it may not always work as intended. We\u2019re continuously improving this feature and it is currently available for the car brands below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
